Great Wall Of China
I have finally done it and booked to walk the Great Wall next year after much deliberating on wether I could afford it. I took the plunge last night and sooo excited I had to tell you.

That would be great walk55 but would have to be in the New Year now because of work commitments and holidays.
Hi Jopo I live just out side Bury so there a few places you can go. If we can get a few members well am up for that.MB your wellcome to come if you know the peaks quite well thats is even better.Done a bit of the peaks but on my own. I tend to just have a drive out and see where I come to then go for a walk.So hope we can sort something out and meet some of the other members.

MB it's under trek in Charity Challange.
HP I will be doing it for Bowel Cancer. Really struggled to chose one but I think this cancer affect a number of families.

15th May. Did you see the web site it looks great, there are loads of things I want to do on it and very handy as it's a group thing and all organised.
walk55 I think we are near each other. If you know any good walks in our area, there are a couple of members near us we could have our own meeting.

I worked for a couple of weeks in China and loved it. There was great hospitality and I found everyone from company directors to shipyard workers friendly and easy to work with - even when we were late and hit technical problems. And the food ... mmmm...
I'd really like to go back for a holiday.
