Hi Gary, recently started to participate in OutdoorDuo events. I was going to 'Yes' but found out my daughter is visiting that weekend. Thanks for arranging and maybe another weekend.
I rode around this area today. I can confirm there are a dozen car parking spaces, and the car park is free. There is an additional car park further up the road by the roundabout, maybe 150 meters. Also free. Today at 10:30 both were half full.
Hi Landranger68. Thanks for your thoughts and note of caution. I choose this as the riverbank walk to Bramber is flat. We can decide to take on a climb on the day if weather and legs allow.
Hi Gary,I walked the S.D.W last September,Do not underestimate this Trail,which is unrelenting,It is the constant 500 ft, down maybe 300ft for mainly ten mile sections,but then downhill for an overnight stop,Uphill the next Day,and continues for the following days.
